Project: Black History Month

How can you take a beer brand typically synonymous with blue collar, White American patriotism and make it relevant and appealing to Black Americans during the month they celebrate the history of their culture? By taking snapshots of Black American history and aligning it with that same patriotism we all revere.

This campaign's messaging seeks to merge traditional American heritage symbols with familiar Black history imagery, highlighting the commonality between the two.

#HAVE A BUD WITH US is an invitation to join the beer brand in an open ended conversation about just how American the story and struggle of Black American history actually is.
